The deer leather is unbelievably soft right out of the box, no break-in needed at all. I wore them to the office all day and the tapered toe still felt comfortable by evening. The brown pattern has this subtle variation that makes them look way more expensive than they were.

The slim shape makes these look way dressier than my old round-toe loafers, and the brown deer leather has a really distinct grain I wasn't expecting. Broke them in over two days and now the penny strap sits perfectly without rubbing.
