The leather is surprisingly soft for patent finish, and the fit is perfect right out of the box. I wore them to a dinner party last night and got several compliments on the sleek design.

The glossy front strap catches the light beautifully and the leather feels plush right out of the box—I wore them to a dinner party the same evening without any break-in soreness. They're surprisingly light on the foot, which makes them easy to slip on for both errands and dressier occasions.
